JAANARA is a brand name inspired by Jaan (جان) — life, soul, beloved — and Ara (آرا) — adornment, beauty, to beautify. It is not itself a traditional Dari or Pashto word.
Across Afghanistan, generations of makers have kept extraordinary traditions alive through their hands.
JAANARA connects these makers with the world. We want to support craftsmanship, opportunity, cultural heritage and a global future.
